Ashley is 3 months old

we cannot believe that our little Ashley is already 3 months old. She is just a true joy in our lives. Here's a bit of what miss Ash is up to...
- A great sleeper - sleeps from 10 at night till sometime between 5 and 8 in the morning :) Everyone is getting great sleep in the Noble household
- About 12 pounds - mom is starting to buy size 2 diapers
- Smiles all the time - even when she wakes up in the morning with a little cry, she immediately breaks into a grin when she sees us.
- Chats and Chats - Ashley loves to talk with everyone and has a special fondness for morning conversations with her big sister Aly
- Strong - likes to sit in her bumbo and valleyfair now.

A trip to see Great Grandma B

We packed the car and headed to North Dakota to meet Great Grandma B. The car trip was fairly easy with a 2 month old but this time proved to be a bit more boring for Alyson :) Luckily an overnight stop in Fargo to break up the trip helped with the long drive.

We spent the weekend an Uncle Dan and Aunt Virg's house and the hospitality could not be any better. What was so fun was that Cousin Erin and Londyn stayed over spent a ton of time with us and what fun did Aly and Londyn have in the toy room at the house.

Gram came out to the house a few of the nights for more time with Ashley and Aly got to share her dance recital video with her as well. But for Gram, seeing the kiddos swimming in the pool connected to her home was a treat. Even Ashley came in for a swim with mom and dad.

The trip ended with Goodbyes but started a ton of hellos along the way. We ended up in Cando for lunch where Ryan was born and then headed to Aunt Glenda and Uncle Roger's in Starkweather. They had all of the grandkids with them for the weekend so Aly had a fun time playing with the kids while we visited. The evening ended with another stop in Fargo to stay at cousin Kristi's house. We had a lovely evening visiting with her and Paul while Aly again played with Makenzi, Jayce and Chance.

Nana and Papa made the trek to Minnesota to see all of the kiddos and meet Miss Ashley. They arrived on Friday and th festivities began once Beau and Neeley arrived. What a fun weekend we had enjoying the great warm summer. We had a day at the beach and a nice day at the pool :) Here are just a few of the fun photos from the weekend. Ashley is 2 months old

Weighing in at 9lbs 11oz, Ashley and her sister Alyson are pretty close when it comes to milestones so far with one exception... head size. Seems Ashley just as a normal noggin versus Aly's 90% head size at 2 months. We are starting to smile and make some noises and just strong in general.

Aly decided she was ready to get her ears pierced and so mom and her made the trip to claires. Aly was perfect and ended up with no tears but now has sparkles (just like moms) Looks like Aly is all set for being a Sugarbaby this year and can wear the fun costume jewelry :)

Ashley is 1 month old

Amazing that Ashley is already 1 month old. To be truthful, the month has flown by and we are enjoying every minute with both the girls. Milestones for Miss Ashley are pretty amazing as well. By 2wks, Ashley was already above her birth weight, weighing in at 6lbs 8oz. She is a fabulous baby and sleeps about 5hrs once in bed and even sometimes needs us to wake her to eat before sleeping the remainder of the night. Needless to say, dad, mom and Aly are all well-rested! The best thing about her getting bigger is the starting of the noises and smiles :) She now reacts and tracks with all of us and in the morning we get extra big smiles! Such the best thing to wake up to in the morning.

Ashley loves her bed and her swing but what we laugh most about is her distaste for wet diapers. Seems like we are on about a 10 min changing pattern when she is awake. Enjoy the pictures below of her over the past month.

We celebrated my granny's 90th birthday on Saturday June 11th 2011. We had a lovely gathering at mom and dad's house to celebrate with the family and Granny's two sisters Marge and Doris. We enjoyed a wonderful meal in true Griffin Fashion and ended with cakes, desserts and presents.

Aly's Dance Recital

Alyson's second year of dance at Dance Arts Centre ended with a bang. Aly was part of a competition team and after a fun year of performing including a performance at the Mall of America and a competition in April, the recital ended the year. Aly's group did two numbers this year, Mr. Sandman for tap and Macho Man for Jazz. The pictures below are from the recital day and the dress rehersal night.

Thanks to Mari and dad who took Aly to her dress rehersal and to my mommy moo for coming over to help with Ashley.

Ashley's First day continued....

So we really tried hard to capture many moments of Ashley's first day. We had so many visitors that I wanted to pull together a few of the pictures to help capture a bit of the excitement of the day.
