Swinging on a Swing

Look at me - I'm swinging. Mommy and I went out with my cousin Anna and her mom to the park. It was my first time to the park and I had a blast. I got to go down the slide with mom, sit on the teeter-totter with Anna and swing by myself. What a fun day.

6 Months Old

At 6 months Alyson:

Talks in her own words to Maddie

Loves to eat her food and sit in her highchair

Snuggle up to anyone who holds her

Pulls herself up to stand from some one's hands

She is quite the most precious babe in the world to her parents....

Happy Mother's Day Mommy

So what a lucky mom was I this year. My mother was nice enough to take Aly in the morning so Ryan and I could play golf with our friend Todd. The morning was chilly but the course was great.

The rest of the day was spent outdoors on a walk and enjoying the surprisingly hot sunny weather that arrived in the afternoon.

The evening ended with my mom, brother, Aunt Pat, Cousin Kristin and Cousin Julie, Paul and Anna Rae for Sushi dinner.. Luckily there were many children with their mothers as well so all of the chaos seemed just like normal.

The days are flying by - Aly is now officially 6 months old. We have our doctor's appt next Tuesday - and we cannot wait to see how Aly is growing.

Aly's First Swim

Aly got a pool from her Grandma Griffin a few weeks ago and we finally had a warm day to enjoy the pool. Some of the neighborhood kids stopped by to see Aly take a dip so it was a fun time for everyone. Thanks to Auntie too for the fun sunglasses.

Okay - So it may seem early but Aly decided on Sunday May 6th that she wanted to walk - Of course she was holding mom's hands but we have a video to prove - Just not sure how to get that on the blog - more to come...

Charlotte's Web

Aly had a wonderful time this weekend when her Auntie Mandy came to stay with her while mom and dad did some errands. Aly watched Charlotte's Web with Auntie and they shared a nap. What a wondeful Auntie...

Duck, Duck, Rubber Duck, Duck

Well Ernie likes to sing about his rubber ducky so it is only appropriate that Aly got her duck tub out. Being that we are already 5 1/2 months and love to sit up straight - we thought how fun for her.. Needless to say - she LOVES all of the ducks she gets to play with.

Mom and dad love the duck too because we don't have to hold her all the time...

Looking forward to more fun in the tub - and if you have not heard Ernie's new rubber duck song - check it out on Sesame Street - it has a reggae beat and it's pretty catchy...
