Leaving the Hospital

Alyson left the hospital today. She wore the outfit mommy picked out for her. It had a pupper on the front with 3 little ducks. She also wore a hat knitted by her Great Grandma Jean which Grandma Jane gave to Alyson. She looked quite cute. Daddy picked up Alyson, Mom and Grandma Jane to make the trek home. It was bittersweet to leave the hospital as the nurses and doctors were so wonderful. It was also great because Daddy and Mommy got a few good nights of sleep when Alyson went to the nursery at night. Needless to say - mommy and daddy would rush to get Alyson in the early morning hours.

We are grateful for the many visitors we had at the hospital. Great Grandma Griffin was able to see Alyson at the hospital. As for the rest of our visitors, there are to many too thank or even post all of the pictures. Thank to everyone for all of their well wishes.

We dropped off grandma and picked up Maddie and proceeded on the rest of our journey home. The evening was spent getting things situated and having Pizza dinner and watching hockey with Grandma and Grandpa Griffin.
